What is a Dental Implant?

A dental implant is a metal fixture that is inserted into the jaw bone. Once inserted into the jaw bone it functions as a artificial root and allows the dentist to attach a denture or crown onto the "metal root".  The video located below shows how a dental implant procedure is carried out.

Why Would I Need A Dental Implant?

Dental Implants are more comfortable than dentures and allows the patient to eat as they normally would.  Dental Implants also look better and are way more durable than dentures. One of the benefits of having a implant is that the surrounding teeth do not need to be reduced to make a bridge like you would have to in dentures.

What Do Dental Implants Cost?

There is no "fixed cost" at our office because every case is unique and may require different levels of care. If you are interested in Dental Implants then feel free to book a free consultation with Dr. Ganesh and he can discuss your options with you.

What Are My Alternatives?

The alternatives treatment are Partial Dental Bridges and Fixed Dentures. By not doing anything you pose the potential risk of your whole bite changing.  Your teeth will move to compensate for the missing teeth and this will cause your bite to be misaligned. It is very costly to fix a mis-aligned bite.
